    What's your secret addiction?


    Pushing the envelope, I always say early to be early to rise - and it's 6am while I still sit and type - I somehow manage to keep it secret from myself for I otherwise should have stopped it :-/

    Eggs for me are ideally poached, yolks still runny, served on just crisped toast before it starts turning, spread with butter then a thin veneer of ketchup, the eggs are strained and placed on the toast then a sprinkle of salt & pepper.... Somehow, not always alternately or depending on what is available, I like both two toast three egg & three toast two egg, one is a delightfully messy melee of yolk & toast (better than scrambled eggs), the other is a well balanced egg per toast with a spare slice to mop up with (better than boiled egg and soldiers) I quite like making 'designer' omelettes from 'spare' ingredients - chop a generous handful of cherry tomatoes and some pitted green olives, mushrooms, wafer thin ham/turkey slices and a clove of garlic, then get these frying and pour on whisked egg mixed with your favourite curry (I like tandoori for this) and any other condiments - it should flip okay and when both sides are done serve with cheese grated on - it is a filling 'meal'

    Interesting question... for which I'm not sure I have an answer. :( But highly interesting... Maybe its always the feeling of not having done enough.
