The first thing I did when I got home was I helped Winne trim some hedges. THE VERY FIRST THING!! Now you know how my family sees me. I am simply a landscaper.

We took Baby and his cage outside to give the cage a nice thorough wash. Lots of caked up bird poo.

This is my mom being all excited about the fireworks she had acquired.

I took my turtles out so they could get some natural UVA and UVB instead of getting it all from their UV lamp.

    Escapee!

I put Baby's leftover bird seed into our bird feeder and it attracted a squirrel within three hours. How do they do that?!

We took Honey to the pet store and tried out some pet beds.

    Snooze...

My camera took a snooze too. No photos of the several hours in between this pic and the next. We were too busy stuffing our faces.

Honey was very scared of the fireworks and either hid under people's legs...

...Or tried to escape back into the house.

Crazy older Chinese people collaborating on how to make fireworks more dangerous than they already are. The grin on my mother's face tells all.

My dad lighting a bottle rocket.

    Boom!

    DSC_5550
